On 24-25th of April Redgate Capital participated in the first international Baltic Sea Region forest-oriented investing conference “Invest in Forest”.
A two-day conference brought together 150 forestry-related professionals from all over the Europe, including larger and smaller forest owners, private and institutional investors and representatives of the national forests.
Speeches and discussions focused on our close region – surroundings of Baltic Sea, which is known for its wealth of forest and forest related innovative developments. Presentations and panel discussions from experienced professionals provided a comprehensive overview of present and future trends in forestry, with the aim to primary assess the effects in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Due to the anticipated growth in the value of investing in forest countries, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania show a growth trend.
Redgate Capital’s Senior Partner Mr Veikko Maripuu and Fund Manager Mr Andrei Zaborski moderated wednesday’s session devoted to the assessment of forest land.
