Law Firm VARUL together with Baltic investment banking company Redgate Capital and Lithuanian bank Šiauliai Bank invite you to a practical seminar covering all legal and financial aspects of the bond issuing process for Lithuanian companies. Also bond investors’ view will be presented.

 

The seminar is dedicated to general managers of Lithuanian companies and potential bond investors.

At the seminar you will get an overview of the Baltic bond market, learn practicalities of the bond issuing process and get detailed information about what the investors expect from the issuers and how to adjust to their requirements.

Aare Tammemäe, Senior Partner, Redgate Capital

Aare possesses nearly 20 years of investment banking, real-estate and finance experience from various top Estonian and Nordic companies. Aare was CEO of listed Real Estate company Arco Vara and Head of Corporate Banking in Nordea bank in Estonia. Aare has also worked 4 years as a CFO in the major Estonian state-owned company Port of Tallinn. He has been one of the first key employees of Baltic leading investment bank Suprema Securities in mid 90’s working as Head of Sales and Trading and Managing Director.  Aare has an MBA degree from Bentley College, USA, and executive education from London Business School.

 

Andrei Zaborski, Associate, Redgate Capital

Andrei has nearly 20 years extensive experience in asset management and bond origination fields. He started in SEB Asset Management in Estonia as a fund manager specializing in debt instruments. Andrei continued in Evli Securities as Chief Investment Officer before joining Redgate Capital in 2008. Andrei holds BA degree in International Business from University of Concordia, MA degree in International Business from Estonian Business School and is currently obtaining his second college degree in Forestry from Estonian University of Life Sciences.

 

Liutauras Baikštys, Associate Partner, Law Firm VARUL

Liutauras is heading the banking and finance practice group in the Vilnius office of Law Firm VARUL. Liutauras’ career in finance includes working in a number of different deals for the Baltic branches of international financial groups Swedbank, SEB, local banks like Citadele bank and Šiauliai bank, financial leasing companies and other financial institutions. He recently advised NASDAQ OMX Group in drafting the prospectus related documentation templates for potential bond issuers in the regulated markets operated by Nasdaq in the Baltics.

 

Marko Kairjak, Partner, Law Firm VARUL Estonia

Marko is a renowned financial regulatory expert. He heads Ministry of Justice’s work group overviewing the sanctions regime in the financial sector. He is the leading expert in payment and investment services, FinTech companies and crowdfunding. He holds an LL.M. degree from Cambridge University (capital markets) and a Ph.D. from Tartu University (criminal law). He is a lecturer of Finance Ethics and Law at the Estonian Business School in Tallinn and Helsinki.

 

Tomas Varenbergas, CFA, Head of Treasury & Markets,Šiaulių Bank

Tomas has over 10 years of experience in asset management, investment banking and finance. He started in Finasta Asset Management in Lithuania as a fixed income mutual and pension Fund Manager. Tomas continued in Bank Finasta as Proprietary Investment Manager and Member of Bank’s Investment Committee before joining Šiaulių bankas in 2015. Tomas has BSc degree in Business Management, MSc degree International business and holds Chartered Financial Analyst designation from CFA Institute, USA.
