Estonian mortgage loan company H\u00fcpoteeklaen O\u00dc issued 3 year bonds in May with the maturity date of 7th May 2016 and fixed interest of 8%. The volume of the bond program was 4 million euros. Bonds are secured with the pledges on mortgages.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the course of emission, the bonds were subscribed by known Estonian institutional and private investors. Throughout the bond emission, financial advisor was Redgate Capital and legal advisor was the law firm SORAINEN. The law firm Lawin is the collateral agent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201eWe are very glad that with the help of Redgate Capital we succeeded in entering Estonian capital market for the first time,\u201c said Mr. Toomas Paju, the head of the board of H\u00fcpoteeklaen O\u00dc. \u201eFor us it is very important to diversify financing opportunities in order to finance the growth of our credit portfolio.\u00a0\u00a0The interest of private persons towards the bonds was known, but the interest of institutional investors exceeded our expectations.<\/p>\n

Redgate Capital\u2019s Senior Partner Mr. Aare Tammem\u00e4e has said: \u201eWe are glad that we could help H\u00fcpoteeklaen O\u00dc in attracting long-term money with the yield that is attractive to both investors and emitter. One goal of Redgate Capital is to engage capital for middle-sized companies in the Baltics and the entrance of new emitters to the market; therefore, continuously increasing emission volumes is a good sign of investors\u2019 growing interest towards local bond products.<\/p>\n

In addition to bond emission, H\u00fcpoteeklaen is also engaging additional capital of 4 million euros from Estonian banks in the form of an ovedraft. The proceeds of the emission and bank credit will be used for encouraging loan business in Estonian local market.<\/p>\n

H\u00fcpoteeklaen O\u00dc was founded in 2009. The company offers creditation secured by real estate in Estonia. There are 8 employees in the company, who serve more than 1200 clients. In 2012, H\u00fcpoteeklaen earned 0.4 million euros of net profit, by the end of the year the equity and total assets were 0.8 and 8.2 million euros accordingly.<\/p>\n
